The study aims to test the effect of the Bundled nurse-led Education, Support Group and Text message follow-up (BEST) intervention on the identified outcomes and explore the acceptability of the intervention from multiple perspectives. The study will (1) determine the impact of BEST intervention on hypertension physiologic measures, medication adherence, and modification of lifestyle behaviors and (2) Explore the nurse leader and participant perceptions of BEST intervention.
